Notes:
- Gender hints: Most items ending in -e are feminine (la lampe), but exceptions exist (le canapé).
- Plural alert: Rideaux (curtains) and étagères (shelves) are always plural. Other examples include les coussins (cushions) and les tableaux (paintings).
