Explanation:

Indefinite adjectives (adjectifs indéfinis) modify nouns to express vague quantities or individuality. They always agree in gender/number with the noun they describe.

Key Categories:

  1. Zero Quantity
    • Aucun(e) (no/none) → Aucun problème (No problem)
    • Nul(le) (no/none) → Nulle part (Nowhere)
  2. Limited Quantity
    • Quelques (a few) → Quelques amis (A few friends)
    • Certain(e)s (certain) → Certaines idées (Certain ideas)
  3. Larger Quantity
    • Plusieurs (several) → Plusieurs livres (Several books)
  4. Individuality
    • Chaque (each) → Chaque jour (Each day)
    • Tout/toute/tous/toutes (all/every) → Tous les matins (Every morning)

Note:

  • Tout changes form:
    • Masculine singular: tout (tout le gâteau)
